Fiverr collaborated with Censuwide to poll over 1,000 US-based freelancers to learn how they are leveraging on the growth of NFTs and other Web3 apps. Here are the main takeaways from the study:
👉 The number of freelancers who published tasks on Fiverr for NFT services surged by 278% between Q3 and Q4 of 2021.
👉 From Q3 to Q4 of 2021, worldwide freelance earnings for NFT services on Fiverr increased by 374%.
👉 From Q3 to Q4 of 2021, global searches for NFT-related services climbed 345%.
👉 95% of freelancers surveyed claim to have profited from NFT/Metaverse related services
👉 Based on the increase they’ve witnessed in these fields, 83% of freelancers respondents plan to adapt their present offers.
👉 54% believe they can earn an additional $2,600 to $5,200 per month by leveraging their Web3 capabilities.
👉 When it comes to the Metaverse, women outearn men, with 61% of female freelancers claiming to have made money from the selling of Metaverse-related services, compared to 45% of male freelancers.
👉 54% are concerned about privacy and cyber security.
👉 39% express concern about regulation, or the lack of regulation.
👉 37% say there is a lack of information and understanding in this area.
👉 Another 28% express concern about Web3’s lack of in-person interaction.
