Twitter is adding support for Ethereum to its mobile tipping feature, the company said.
Twitter’s Tips service allows users to send money, including cryptocurrency, to accounts they like through the app on their phone. The social media platform introduced Bitcoin tips in September 2021.

The news from Twitter is yet another example of a Web 2 giant application adding Web 3 features and technologies to its platform. Earlier this year, Twitter began allowing some users to use their NFTs as their profile pictures in a verified way.
