Ukraine is looking to sell NFTs to anybody willing to help the nation against Russia, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, declared on Twitter. The sales announcement should be made soon – for everyone interested in assisting Ukraine’s war effort against the Russian invasion.
The Ukrainian government was scheduled to issue a cryptocurrency dubbed World Peace, but the airdrop was halted owing to concerns about fraud. Fedorov stated on Twitter that the Ukrainian government currently has no plans to issue fungible tokens.
After careful consideration we decided to cancel airdrop. Every day there are more and more people willing to help Ukraine to fight back the agression. Instead, we will announce NFTs to support Ukrainian Armed Forces soon. We DO NOT HAVE any plans to issue any fungible tokens

The airdrop was designed to reward cryptocurrency contributors who are sending funds to Ukraine in order to continue the battle, while the NFT is expected to act as a gateway for donations. Ukraine has already received $50 million in Bitcoin, Ether, and Polkadot Dot donations.
